started in several low-level competitions, usually being very successful. The fame and power went to his head however, he felt that he needed to become even more famous. Because of this Romulus hired Dr. Milo to create steriods for him. However, Milo knew that the games committee would be on the lookout for doping athletes so he created a formula with timberwolf hormones, which was obviously not a chemical the games committee was looking for. Romulus then agreed to split all his profits with Milo. Romulus accepted not knowing that he had been tricked by Milo. Romulus soon became the best athlete and won a gold medal and became one of the best athletes in Gotham and gained fame and fortune. However, Romulus went back on his deal and said that he would not give Milo any money. The serum however, had horrible side effects and Romulus began to turn into a werewolf. Romulus then went to Milo for help. Milo told Romulus that there was no cure for moderate werewolfism but he did have a cure for advanced lycanthropy so Milo and Romulus made a deal. The deal was that Romulus would take the formula and complete his transformation and Milo would treat him if Romulus did everything Milo said. Romulus accepted and took the formula and turned into a full werewolf. When Romulus began attacking people (as a werewolf) that were a danger to Milo's work this cought the attention of Batman. When Milo learned that Batman was now involved he decided that Batman had to be taked care of. Romulus put out the word that he was making a chairty donation and would double it if Batman picked it up. Later that night Batman went to Romulus's house with the intent to pick up the cheque, however Romulus released knockout gas into the room and Batman passed out. Romulus then brought Batman to Milo's hideout. They chained Batman up and Milo intended to release Romulus on him after he had turned into a werewolf. When romulus did turn into the werewolf he turned on Milo, and when Milo dropped the vial containing the cure Romulus became even angrier and threw Milo into a ditch and knocked him unconscious. The werewolf then preceeded to attack Batman. Batman was able to hold his own against the werewolf and when Romulus was struck by lightning he fell into the river. after this neither Batman or the police were able to find him. Months later there was still no sign of Romulus and the bank sold his mantion to pay off his debts. Later, a wolf howled at the moon but it was unknown if it was Romulus.
